This is what I've found so far but not satisfied with it all. I have to see and compare more grilles and body kits instead of just a front lip.

FASTER! FASTER!
I'm not sobbing over it. Bottomline if I had to choose between a G35 and a Maxima today. The G35 would be the car to get hands down.

I was in front of an '04 Maxima non-HID the other night.
I haven't seen too many '04s around, especially at night, so when it came up behind me I had no clue as what kind of car it was.
The damn lights kept bouncing around in my mirror everytime the Max hit a bump, causing me to continue staring to figure what kind of car it was. It wasn't until passing under a streetlight could a confirm it was indeed a Maxima...very cool.
The car looks stunning at night...I can't believe it's growing on me!

Infinite Ideas, hmmmmm.
AWD, turbo...hmmm...Audi A6 2.7T?

What does this Maxima compete with...doesn't it already best the competition?
I think everyone would like to see their car "above and beyond the current competition."

You weren't one of the haters were you? Be careful, the grille starts to make sense too after a while.

Well, their out there. One night I saw a commercial of the new Max (you don't see too many of those) and this car was hualin' major a$$. I got to thinking and told my wife, let's go test drive this badd puppy! We brought the car home that night. I really liked the 03 Max but hated the rear end, it just didn't click too well. I'm glad I waited for this one.

I've driven it to Caleefonyuh from Colorado and it makes you want to drive further, just for the ride. I'm going to back to Cali and back to Colorado this weekend and can't for the drive. I'll be ready to terrorize the streets of L.A. with all other 04s. It's surprising how many are out there.

Really, Audi NO THANKS!

Imagine the Max AWD W/TURBO (I can dream right?). It'd be like a large WRX on droids, just tearin' up the a$$$$phalt. WOOOOOH! Get out of my way!!!

Sorry, got to dreamin' a bit.

Anyways, I can't believe they say that the Audi 1.8 competes with this Maxima. Wrong!

I was a hater because I didn't like it at first, and even more when I sat in it at the autoshow. But seeing it more often and actually driving it has made it more appealing.

The front makes more sense than the rear...I don't think I'll get over the huge-*** bumper, unless it's balanced by a spoiler.
The side profile is great though....the car makes a statement/impression.

Oh yeah, thinking that it isn't better than a BMW and that a Maxima has flaws makes me a hater too.

yeah they grown on me also. i like the back though. no other car has that back just like the infiniti j3o.
audi suck. but a maxima with a turbo and rear or awd would be cool.
I raced a 2002 a4 1.8t yesterday and it was a stick. my max is a auto and i riped that fool. he was in the back of my car when he was only in 3 gear. they are heavy and slow.

Why does Audi suck?

If it's for the problems they're reputable for, then don't hope for AWD and turbo on Maxima...it just might be even worse.

If it's because the 1.8T is slower than your Max...do the math: 1.8L turbo'd I-4 with ~170hp/~166tq vs. 3.5L V6 with 265hp/255tq.

Ooops, there's the hater in me!

Thought that this thread was about lights - here's the real deal - the Xenon headlight assembly MSPR is $852.60 per side, so the $150 credit is a joke...if you want to replace the light assemblies, you can order the asemblies from Stan Olsen Nissan parts in Omaha for $682.00 per side, then remember that you have to pay a body shop $100 + to disassemble the front end to mount and align the lights, and put everything back together...

Just thought you'd want to know where to buy the assemblies at a pretty substantial discount...

You can order them online from Marv via e-mail at parts4@mail.stanolsen.com
