CANADIAN Price for SE with Manual Leather Package

Can anyone tell me how much they paid (Canadian $) for a 2004 SE with Manual Leather Package?
My fiancee and I are going to trade her Sentra GXE this fall for a MAX (moving up in size etc with upcoming nuptuals), so I was wondering what the dealerships were offering.
This will be my first new car purchase, so I want to go with as much info as possible. I know no one pays MSRP!
Thanks in advance.

stupid people pay MSRP, it happens.

I think the SE with Driver Preferred (which has leather, audio, etc.) is $400,000 canadian, or about $28,000 American

If you're shopping in the greater Toronto area it's worth logging on to carhelpcanada.com and becoming a member. They will give you dealer cost info and refer you to a dealership where they have a pre-negotiated price already set up. You can buy there or take the dealer cost info and try to negotiate a better deal. You will easily make back the cost of membership in the better deal you'll get on the car.

Stepping up from a Sentra to a Max eh? That's one giant step up for sure. Though a cousin of mine just picked up an '04 Sentra SE-R Spec V, and I was really suprised at how much I liked that car. Nothing but grins behind the wheel of that puppy. It's quite quick and feels even faster than it is. A lot of fun to drive.

Cheers,

Jaeger

Thanks! I heard about carhelpcanada ... I was wondering if they were really as good as they claim to be. I got a quote from a leasing agent "friend of a friend" so I know about dealer cost, I was wondering if that $37,500 quoted above was a real possibility ... that's lilke paying not tax!

Anyway, my fiancee's Sentra is really zippy, that's the best thing ... you definitely feel in control.

You must have gotten more than just the base model. Did you add leather or anything?

If you know dealer cost then I can tell you from my shopping around that you can do about CDN$1000 to $1500 over cost easily. If you find one that you like in-stock on the lot and go in toward month-end, who knows? The 6 sp. versions are few and far between, but they do tend to sit on dealer lots longer.

Well, that's a great price for the four seater!
I'll let you guys know how I make out ... one dealer already told me that they don't stock the 6spd here in Toronto, so we'll see how it goes.
