Mattman, how bad was the alignment? I just so happened to need something of my glovebox yesterday, so I went to the passenger side and sat there to grab it. I noticed that the right side of the glove box is not aligned with the reset of the dash area.

I.E., if I slide my finger along it, I hit a bump. I will take a picture to make it a little easier to understand.

Mine also looked just like the picture above. Tech did his best to straighten it but still off. They ordered a new door and surrounding structure...

I then asked to speak to the manager and he determined the latch was bent and a new one was ordered. That did not fix the problem altogether so back it went again. Not sure what they did this time but it was aligned. Before that I had the pesky noise which sounded like something rolling around in the door but turned out to be the latch on the glove box door rattling when I went over bumbs. All aligned now.
