I just found my stock GTP dyno.

190 fwhp / 250 fwtq

190 fwhp is about par for a "240hp auto". But the torque! The actual wheel torque on the dyno was only 240, but the dyno didn't start until 3500rpm to avoid kickdown and the torque curve was already on the downhill slope so another 10 fwtq looked to be pretty fair as far as I could tell. That's more like 320 lb-ft at the crank instead of 280 lb-ft rated. Big difference.

Dial that into cartest along with some more traction to match the 60' times those cars can do and I got it going 14.71 @ 93 with a 2.21 60' I know it will do 2.1xx stock though, so dial in a little more traction.

14.63 @ 93.1, 2.17 60'. Good enough?

you pulled what a 2.28 60' on your 14.7 run? 14.5 would be possible, but he would have needed either a lot cooler weather or a 2.1xx or 2.20 launch. I don't think it's impossible, but it defintely would not be typical or average by any means. That's why I want to see all of the other data like the trap speeds, etc.

Yeah, the time and speed aren't enough to get the entire clear and concise picture...

I believe the 6th Gen has better top end than the 5th Gen 3.5's, but I still have a hard time believing that the rating (HP/TQ) is correct.

I know quarter mile times and trap speed are popular here, but are any of you guys interested in how your maxima is on a track, where there are real corners? I for one am very interested. Actually im trying pretty hard to look for tracks that are open to the public. If anyone else wants to join in, let me know.
Also if any of know the best way to launch an SE (auto), please share.
Thanks.
