Pedal Covers

Anyone know where to get some alumium alloy looking pedal covers for the automatic trans 2004 Maxima and a dead pedal cover that will fit without drilling?

Thanks in advance!

Go to jrnissan.com and click on the parts section. Pictures of gas, brake and dead pedal are displayed. There are no pedals yet for 2004 Nissan Maxima. Ask the parts department if the pedals fit the 2004 maxima.

if i am not mistaken, the website mentioned above is the place where a member bought the pedals, only to find out that the pedals didn't fit...when he called them on it, they told him to ask this message board (or maybe it was freshalloy)...the thread was locked and i never heard of it again...

if i am wrong, then i am truly sorry...

Win, I ordered some from JR like TKO says, the dead pedal is out of stock, they said they'll mail the order when they get it in, still waiting... I'll post on this thread when they get in. I hope they fit, if not it's false advertisement and a bad business move on the sellers part for just $53. Thats one of the powers of these forums, it allows us to expose any bad business practice to thousands of Nissan owners real quick. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Hoping for the best. RC

this is a good explanation of why the 5th gen pedals won't fit the 6th gen...they may have changed the inventory, but be cautious if the stock number is the same for the 5th gen pedals as the 6th gen pedals...you can find this thread at:http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ighlight=pedal
hopefully they have already corrected the problem.

I have a 2003 and have the AE pedals and the 350Z dead pedal. I am pretty sure they just sent you the 5th gen pedals. They shouldn't have because the floor of the 6th gen is different which would affect the usability of the 350Z dead pedal they sent you. We have to saw off the majority of the black plastic base to make the pedal usable on the 5th gen anyways. The 350Z has a flat floor where the 5th and 6th gen have a raised floor with a built in foot rest. Also the 5th gen accelerator uses a long metal rod with a separate pedal that attaches to the rod using a back clip. The 6th gen has a one piece plastic accelerator rod with a pedal that is not removable. I would send it back, ask for your money back and don't let them charge you a stupid restocking fee. They need to know what models are compatible with the things they are selling!

jrnissan.com seems to not be working... Any other sites out there where I could pickup the pedals and dead pedal for the 04 automatic at?

Thanks.

Do not order pedals from Jerry Rome Nissan. I got mine in today and the order is all wrong. The dead pedal will never fit and they send a small pedal for the brake and no mounting hardware. Let's see what they say when I call them tomorrow... RC
