Aftermarket Wood/Aluminum question?
Aftermarket Wood/Aluminum question?
Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone has had any success in installing aftermarket trim to your maxima's? I know they tend to peel sometimes. Can you tell me what the procedure is to install them? Is it sticky tape on back?
Anyway, I am just about to get my 2004 SE, and I think I am going to accent it with more aluminum trim. Here is a website that I think I am going to use, looks good to me. The regular alum looks like the match for the '04 (not the brushed alum).

Nice find. I agree the aluminum does look like a match, i had received a sample of the brushed from wood dash but it didnt match and was definatly a lot more expensive. I'll have to see if they can send me a free sample too.
This may help... RC

What trim level do you have in your car? adding luminum to the already nice interior seems like over kill to me....If you want it installed take it to a full service car audio shop and have an installer experienced with interior and dash work do it.... I would leave it the way it is and possibly consider upgrading you shifter to carbon fiber etc....
