12 Volt Power Plugs

Is there a way to make the 12volt power plugs always hot? In my other vehicles I leave the Cell Phone pluged in all the time. John

Why would you want to leave something alwys draining power from you battery? I think charge while you drive is good - unless you have like some super sized ceelphone or something.

One way you can do this is to run a new wire from the 12volt plug to the fuse box, and wrap it around a fuse that is always hot, like the headlights.

The power that a cell phone uses when charging is in the Mil Amps and cannot draw the battery down. We leave the cel phone on all the time. A wire to the fuse box would work but I thought there might be a third wire already in place or like the Dodge where you move the wire in the fuse box.
