maxima days away........

hi all, i have been set on getting a new maxima SL for a few days now just waiting for the weekend to get to the dealership, i decided to go with the SL since most the features i want (leather, heated seats) come standard. I do however have 2 questions, and i thought you guys might be able to help a newbie out, are the xeon lights as often stolen as i am told (i love in Brooklyn NY - good part of brooklyn), and how come there is no option for a spoiler on the SL?

P.S. how is the insurance on the maxima compared to other 2004 cars in that price range? thanks.

Just so you know, the MSRP on the SL with the Driver Preferred package which includes what you listed along with the heated telescoping steering wheel, seat memory, and entry/exit system is $30,240.

The same thing in the SE which also has the 5speed auto instead of the 4 speed, the spoiler, 18" rims, and the sport suspension is $31,140.

The SL is the luxury model, the spoiler is for the Sports (SE) model. The Xeon lights were stolen quite often on the older versions, but not the 2004. They were a bit smarter on how they are installed. I haven't seen any that were actually stolen yet.

My SE spoiler was added at the dealer as an option. I see no reason why it could not be added to the SL version.

Good luck and enjoy...

you can always get a spoiler after-market, either the factory style or a custom style, online.... I've ordered on from Ebay, should arrive here tomorrow... i'll take pics after I get it installed... only $144 including custom-matched paint.

Make sure you put up a post listing how you installed it. What had to be drilled, where etc. etc.
