Nav --> TV kit on ebay

Looks like someone's got a kit to allow your navigation screen to show video. Don't know if anyone's seen this yet, but I thought I'd post it anyways. Looks pretty cool if it works, has anyone ever seen one of these in a car? How does it really work?

Why could it not work? The kit on Ebay looks 'poor' but what matters are the guts. If it does the same job, who cares. Check feedback, get guarantee, pay with credit card.

Esentially, the NAVI video signal is RGB, if you could connect a similar RGB signal and put a 2 way switch, voila.

Here is a kit that does work:

Here's it installed in a G35:

This guy is full of sh*t. The navigation display in the Maxima is a low resolution screen meant only for navigation system use. If you try hooking up a tv tuner to it, it would not work because its NOT A HIGH RES SCREEN!

I have seen the AVE electronics kit work. It looks good. I know the screen isnt high quality as some others but video looks good. The screen is definately similar to the one in the infiniti. I am interested in doing this upgrade my self but am worried becuas ethe AVe electronics requires you to splice wires. I wish there was a plug and play solution.
