HID Theft on a 04 max?

Hey guys, I currently own a 2003 Max SE, which im trading in on Saturday because of HiD theft... Luckily My mom Has a 04 max SL which Im going to stay with, since she's getting the new Pathfinder Armada (yup were nissan freaks, hehe). My question is, Do the 04 maxes have the same problem as the 02 and 03 maxes do? Are the H.i.D's easy to steal?

Nope! You have to take off the front bumper to get to the bottom bolts to remove the headlamp housing. If you wish to change fog lamp bulbs then its a 1 1/2 to 2 hour job. They are not easy to steal like the 00-03. jdc1203

I've never heard of any thefts in Florida...I only though it was in the upper east coast.

Someone posted an article from the Miami Herald/times about this a few weeks ago about the HID theft of Maximas and Porsches in the Miami area.
