To anyone using Hi/Lo converters for their amps.

I found out there is a module that will plug into the blose system and will let you use RCA plugs for your amps. It actually plugs into the radio, not tapping into the speaker cable like the Hi/Lo converter. After I had that changed out the improvement was incredible. If anyone is interested in it I can find out the details about it from my stereo shop ppl.

Sorry had alot of stuff to do today. I will call tommorow and post the info I get sometime in the afternoon. The difference between Hi/Lo and this thing is dramatic, well worth the wait

Well I looked at my receipt and after I googled the name this is what came up. I am pretty sure this is what they used but will still check tommora.

I think that this is a bose adaptor. It lets you change the head unit to an aftermarket one. The plug-in rca output is probably a different part....

Can you control your sub through the fader or just through the bass adjustment?

This item will allow you to replace the factory amps or replace a factory headunit. It will work both ways. The Mcintosh mono amp comes with its own volume control so although the soundsystem with the navigation unit does not have a separate subwoofer control I can still adjust the volume on it as needed.
