Floor Mats (That Fit Properly)

I have been searching for a well sized set of floor mats for my 2004 Maxima. I want a set that is full floor pan width at the front ( one for each side of course) Most of the off-the-shelf generic units are too narrow to cover the original carpets at the sides.
Does anyone know who makes a good set, where to order them from?

I just assumed they all came with mats. Nissan also has molded rubber ones for the great white north.

I had to talk my sales guy into it and he said
he'd give them to me for $70 his cost.
But when I got my invoice the mrg said "$70 are you kidding me you just bought a $30,000 car, don't worry about it"
So no charge, I can't beleive they don't just come with mats standard, unless my dealer is cheap...

Mine came with floor mats. I don't think it was an extra on the invoice.

I had a hard time getting winter mats that fit. The only ones I could get were "FSX" branded...they come with a foam insert in the bottom half of the mat that soaks up the water. The foam having a larger surface area helps to evaporate the water quicker. Or thats what the ad said for them. They're ok mats. Just a tad expensive.

Mats are on my window sticker: Floor mats and trunk mat, $150.00.

Courtesyparts.com has a four piece rubber mat set for $69.30.

Floor mats (msrp $150) and/or splash guards (msrp $110) are not standard on the '04 Maxima with any package. They are 'stand-alone' options. In the Atlanta area, about one third of the '04s arrive at the dealer's lot with mats and/or splash guards, which are listed, with price, on the sticker. On cars that don't arrive with mats and/or splash guards, some dealers add either or both and list them, with price, on the 'dealer services' add-on sticker.

I always have mats in any of my vehicles, as they leave the floor looking like new for many years. They are also easier to clean/shampoo/dry than the car floor. That new look helps at trade-in time.

Splash guards, even the miniscule ones Nissan has for the '04 Maxima, help somewhat to keep filth off the lower side of the car. I don't mind the looks of the splash guards, but some folks feel they break up the visual lines of the car.

I just ordered an original "Maxima" set of floor mats for $73.00 from the Nissaan dealer. This is definitely the way to go, and they are a perfect fit!
