The grill contrasts on that car too much, color matched would probably look much better (where's pics of the orange??) Have you guys thought of using mesh inserts on the side and keep the tooth. I've actually grown to like my tooth and would like to update the "baby teeth" on the sides only...

The grille has potential. It seems naked on your car. The hamburger logo would look lousy. But it needs something.....

As time goes by, the buck tooth with the little teeth gets better
day by day. Most of these aftermarket efforts look like they
were fabricated with mesh from the hardware store. Chickenwire
might work. Nobody has tried that. Cluck, cluck.

I agree. It looks too busy for the styling of the rest of the car ... too much going on in one place. And I also agree it looks nekkid. I'd even think the logo would look better than nothing, but that's just my opinion.

The mesh grille attracts too much attention to the front. It really makes the front of the car look much larger then it really is, also looks cheap on a car of this price.

Is that the "super skyview" extended windshield edition? Just kidding, the color ups look good but crazy. Imagine if Max's came in those colors!!
Still backing the tooth though!!!!!
Maybe teeth and chicken wire together....it would look like the Max got braces!!!

$199 for this grille is too much. Try $79 at the most. People are right, "Might as well use chicken wire."

Where some 'upgrade' parts don't look as good in real-life as they do on the net, I feel this grille may be one of those situations where the part looks better in real-life than it does on the net.

I do agree that there is sort of an 'emptiness' with this grille; just a little too plain. Maybe adding the Nissan 'hamburger' back in the center might help that.

Our impression of a vehicle is greatly determined by the overall visual effect of the various shapes, colors and tones. In my mind, painting the grille the color of the car might tend to make the grill sort of 'disappear', removing the front of the car as a focal point.

I would probably tend toward painting the grille a color that complements the color of the car. For example, a black grille on a light colored car, and a silver grille on a dark colored car. I would also add the hamburger to give a front focal point and interrupt the tendency toward blandness.

But everyone will have their own opinions . . .

Looked at their website and called: the whole piece comes in white, you have to paint them to match body color including the middle part, it's your original emblem.
