there are diff opinions to doing that. Some say springs come with a set of 4 for a reason, others say it doesnt do any harm. Its your call

I actually installed just the front and after looking at it I wanted a bit more tuck in the back. The front is still a bit lower, but damn the gap!!!

I actually thing the eibach drop is perfect.. No need to go any lower in the front.

On a 04 maxima SE the back is pretty tucked...do you think the back would rub if you put the eibach springs on and run 20" rims

Thanks so much, 04blackse! I've been waiting for SOMEONE to address this issue. I just never got around to it because I'm still debating whether or not I want to do it (after hearing the pros/cons of dropping front AND back, front only, or replacing shocks AND springs due to extra wearing of shocks due to drop, etc...)... Who knows?

One of my pet peeves about the MAX is that the damn front wheel well reveals too damn much wheel well! Everyone, it's plain to see that this is so. Even when you drop w/ Eibach springs, the front STILL "appears" higher than the rear due to the high-cut fenderwalls. It's not hard to tell. I look @ import/modified/sport car magazines and when I see the sport suspensions of the Benz's, BMWs, even the freaking G35's (sedan AND coupe), 350Z's, Altimas, Accords, etc...the suspension gives a nice clean "even" appearance because there's equal amount of space in front and back fenderwalls--if you can see any space @ all in some cases! What doesn't make sense to me is why did NISSAN choose to craft the body so that the front wheel well is so darn "spacious" like that! Honestly, it looks gooberish! If there's such a word...lol

Two exterior design short-comings by NISSAN, if you ask me--1) the damn OEM grille, and 2) the damn high-cut front fenderwalls... NISSAN, what gives?

Comments? Opinions?

I measured before and after heights with the drop (eibachs). The front dropped was 1.5 inch's lower than stock and surprisingly the rear dropped sat .25" higher than stock. But remember the car needs time to settle. About an hour after install the back sat even with the stock height.
