AC Noise

Does anyone here have a high pitched sound when you turn the AC on past the 3rd blower setting? If so, has anyone managed to get this fixed? Thanks in advance for your help.

I have the auto climate control, so I don't know what you mean by 3rd blower setting. But a high-pitched sound doesn't sound like something you should have. I'd take it in and have it checked if I were you.

Thanks Mike_TX,

I have the auto climate control as well, but anytime I manually adjust the blower above the 3rd setting is when I hear the high pitched sound. I'm going to take it to the dealer next week.

I have a high pitched sound too, but it's loudness varies quite a bit.... I took it to the dealer once but it was deemed to be "normal".

Hey Minotaur,

Now that I think about it, mine varies as well. Hopefully, the dealer will find a solution.

i had the high pitched "whistle" sound too. it wasn't that loud, but i was getting
annoyed when i didn't have music on since it's high pitched sound.
so i took it to the dealer and they replaced the blower motor.
right after they changed blower motor, there was still some noise.
but it was gone after couple of days. now i don't hear that high pitched
"whistle" sound at all.

hope this helps you guys...

Thanks VTmaximaVT. The dealer will probably have to replace my blower motor as well. It really is an annoying whistling sound when the stereo is turned off.
