Engine problems

I've got a stock 3.5 SE, the other day my wife is driving to work and all of a sudden at a stop light the car dies. It took her 5 minutes to get it to restart. I called the dealer and they basically gave me the run around (acted like the car has no problems what so ever) but finally after talking with the GM the car will be dropped off this monday and they're even going to give us a rental until the problem is solved. Which brings me to my question Has anyone had this problem and if so, what did the dealer do to fix it.

Some vehicles were having issues with the fuel pump in extremely cold weather. Though I doubt the temps are low enough now to cause that.

Could just be a bad fuel pump.

Ah, friend of mine had problems with his Altima and it was a computer mix up. They had to replace something. The computer was shutting off the fuel supply. They knew exactly what was wrong at the dealer. If yours isn`t repaired right, I`ll ask him, OK?

Same problem with Rat...told the service manager what was going on and he hooked up the machine while I was standing there talking to him. 3 minutes later it said I had a bad fuel pump. Still took care of me though, give me a rental and all. Will let ya know if that fixes it.
