Hello Everyone, I'm New At This Site. I Have A 2004 Max 6 Speed Manual, And I Get A Hard To Shift & Grinding Noise When Shifting From First To Second Gear.(only When Engine Is Cold).
Has Anyone Had This Similar Problem?

I haven't had a manual tranny since my 1978 Datsun 200SX. When your engine is cold, the tranny is also cold. I don't know what the problem might be. I do know that when this happened on my 200SX (also when shifting from 1st to 2nd) the 2nd gear synchronizer was bad. It was a fairly expensive repair. But your problem should be under full warranty.

Since it seems to go away within a few minutes of driving, I have not bothered to take it to the dealer.
