headlight help

headlight help

hey guys, im tryin 2 take apart my headlight so i can paint the housing smoke but i dont wanna mess anything up and when i tried takin the headlight off it wouldnt budge, i got the 2 screws off and then i tried pulling it out but no luck, is there a certain way???? has anyone taken off thier lights off lemme know
please help

Yes. You'll have to remove the entire front bumper to gain access to the remaining bolts on the bottom of the lamp housing. Expect to spend 3hrs.

Please try NOT to discussed any "how to take headlights off" topics as potential thieves may be browsing here.....


what's up? original poster owned a 2003, first response was 2004...

Here is an online article stated 5th gen equipped with Xenons take 30 seconds for professional thieves (many other similar articles):

Robbing them blind...Pricey car lights a top target of thieves

are u serious???? do i look like im tryin 2 be grimey?, come on he said the bumper has 2 be taken off and in my opinion a thieve WILL take whatever he wants reguardless of what we post here.
if u knew my story u would know why i asked
(no beef here just my 2 cents)
