19x8.5 fit
The offset for OEM 18s on the SE is 40. I know the offset varies by the style of wheel. For example, the Mille Miglia HT-3s I have are 18x8 with an offset of 35mm.
Any reputable dealer will have fittment specs for each vehicle to ensure the wheel you choose will fit on your car. If they don't, try looking up wheels for your car on tirerack.com or discounttire.com and check out the sizes, offsets and bolt patterns that are recommended for your year/model. If you find another wheel with the same specs from someone else it should be fine.

I thought you couldn't go lower than your original offset because it would make the wheels stick out from under the fender. Do you get any rubbing with a 35 offset because from the pic you have it looks like a nice clean fit. I'm asking cause I have my eye on a set of wheels that are 20x8.5 w/ a 35 offset but I thought they would stick out from the fender

My wheels seem to fit perfectly in the wells, not too far in a definitely don't stick out...what wheels are you going with??

I'm also going with a 255/35/20 and was wondering if there is any rubbing when you cut the wheel all the way?

They fit my budget right now especially with the stereo install coming up as well.
They are the rims that are on this RX-7 http://www.adrwheels.com/sponsored.vehicles/ces1

Those rims where one of my choices, but they have a little to much going on with them for me. Good choice on rims, you're sh*t will be looking pimp again in no time.
I should have mine in about a week. I got 9" all the way around with 255/35/20 tires cause I need as much rubber as possible, hope they don't rub. I haven't seen my car in over 3 weeks now, I hope I made the right choice of wheels.
Hopefully I'll have pics up of my car with new grill, window spoiler and some silver 20's

Thank you. I have one more question then I'll stop hounding you. I noticed you have the Dunlop 9000's how is the noise and the ride? I got a guy that will give me a sweet deal on them but I heard they are noisey from the reviews at tirerack. Thanks again man you don't know how much you have helped me out.

Go to www.Freshalloy.com and you'll see 20's w/9.5 front and 10s back. The fit looks real good especially with the lip. I'm thinking of getting the same ones for my RE max.
