Yes, up to 20x8.5 with the proper offset will fit without a problem.

I'm going to order my rims today and i'm getting 20x9 in the front and not certain if i'm gonna do a 20x10 in the rear. Anyone know if the 10 inch wide rim in the rear is gonna rub or poke out?

What is the offset of the Gen 6's I have heard it was 40 but a guy at a wheel store swears it's 42

I thought when I did my suspension I saw a reading on the wheel that said 37 or 38

The offset for OEM 18s on the SE is 40. I know the offset varies by the style of wheel. For example, the Mille Miglia HT-3s I have are 18x8 with an offset of 35mm.

Any reputable dealer will have fittment specs for each vehicle to ensure the wheel you choose will fit on your car. If they don't, try looking up wheels for your car on tirerack.com or discounttire.com and check out the sizes, offsets and bolt patterns that are recommended for your year/model. If you find another wheel with the same specs from someone else it should be fine.

I thought you couldn't go lower than your original offset because it would make the wheels stick out from under the fender. Do you get any rubbing with a 35 offset because from the pic you have it looks like a nice clean fit. I'm asking cause I have my eye on a set of wheels that are 20x8.5 w/ a 35 offset but I thought they would stick out from the fender

I am running 20x8.5 and they fit just about perfect, no rubbing. Not sure about 9" or 10" wide, I don't know too much about offsets etc...
My wheels seem to fit perfectly in the wells, not too far in a definitely don't stick out...what wheels are you going with??

I'm going with the axis mod sevens. I don't know the offset of the wheels but I was told by axis that a 10" wheel will fit in the rear. But I'm dropped and don't know if it's gonna poke out which will lead to rubbing. The only reason I want the 10 in the rear is to have a staggered look. 3" lip in the front and 4" lip in the rear. IMO that sh*t will look hot, but might have to settle for 9' wide all around.

I'm also going with a 255/35/20 and was wondering if there is any rubbing when you cut the wheel all the way?

NO, they are on backorder...despite hesitation I'm sticking with ADR (sterling)
They fit my budget right now especially with the stereo install coming up as well.
They are the rims that are on this RX-7 http://www.adrwheels.com/sponsored.vehicles/ces1

I should have mine in about a week. I got 9" all the way around with 255/35/20 tires cause I need as much rubber as possible, hope they don't rub. I haven't seen my car in over 3 weeks now, I hope I made the right choice of wheels.

Hopefully I'll have pics up of my car with new grill, window spoiler and some silver 20's

It is a nice clean fit. The difference from stock is only +5mm, so it's not much at all. Here is a pick down the side of my Max for illustration (my front wheels are turned to the left a bit)

Thank you. I have one more question then I'll stop hounding you. I noticed you have the Dunlop 9000's how is the noise and the ride? I got a guy that will give me a sweet deal on them but I heard they are noisey from the reviews at tirerack.

Thanks again man you don't know how much you have helped me out.

I know I was so happy with the rims I had but it's hard to find a mesh wheel in 20" that's not way too expensive, most companies don't even make them that big anyways. So that was my next choice, we'll see how they look...I'm sick of running stocks!
Good luck with all your car stuff you have going on, look forward to seeing the pics!!!

Go to www.Freshalloy.com and you'll see 20's w/9.5 front and 10s back. The fit looks real good especially with the lip. I'm thinking of getting the same ones for my RE max.

The Dunlops seem quiet to me. I thought they were quieter than the stock tires. Definitely smoother than stock. I don't know why people posted reviews about the noise because I haven't noticed any at all. And like all the reviews do say, this is an excellent wet weather tire. Hydroplaning is pretty much non-existent. Dry traction is excellent as well.

Hope that helps.
