Need Help with a Price on a New Maxima!!!

First I wanted to say that this website has been very helpful with my decision to buy a 2004 Maxima. I know that I am definately getting a SE with the Driver Perfered Package, Sunroof, Splash Gaurds, and Floor Mats. I know that the sticker price is $32,310 and the invoice is $29,344 so far the best quote that I have recieved is $28,990. So here are my questions:
1. Is this good?
2. Can they go lower?
3. I know this is a popular package what have others gotten for price?
4. How low can they go?

Other info on me I am purchasing in Massachusetts, in the NorthShore area and Im shopping the following dealers. Kelly Nissan Beverly, Kelly Nissan Lynnfield, Ira Nissan Tewksbury.

Thanks in advance for you help.
Newbie John

Hey Newbie,

I'm in the market for a 6th gen. too, although a pre-driven one. I'd say that price of 28K seems pretty darn good. Especially with the options that you are getting.

I haven't been pricing too many new ones, but from the ones I've seen I'd say that's a good price.

Let me tell you Kelly Nissan in Beverly is a top notch outfit, from sales to service. Great, friendly people. Between my wife and I, we have purchased eight Nissans from these guys and recommended many others. Just ask for Mark Beaulieu ('bo-lio") and tell him that John and Dana sent you.

I also got an offer from one of the dealers to beat any other dealer by $300 dollars (which I know is standard dealer talk), but also from the same dealer (Ira) you can get a $100 dollar coupon on the internet so if they beat the $29,990 by $300 plus the $100 dollar coupon, and a $500 dollar new college graduate bonus it will bring the car too $29,090. What do you think?

I prefer not to play that game with them. I tell them to give me their lowest price, and if it beats the others then I will let them in to the bidding, if it doesn't, then I will go elsewhere.

Sometimes this works, other times it doesn't... your mileage may vary

Ira has their hands into so many different auto lines...Kelly just a few. Things seem more personal at Kelly. I feel comfortable in saying that if you take your Ira "deal" to Kelly, that they will beat it. Nissan has a great financing deal right now as well. Good luck.

Ok I think I got the best deal now I can get a Black on Black SE with the Driver Perfered Package, Sunroof, Splash Gaurds,Floor Mats for $28,000 that is the price with all the rebates and incentives that I got. This is from Ira Nissan in Tewksbury, Ma. What do you guy's think this is already $1,300 below invoice, have I hit rock bottom with the price?
Thanks, John
