Worked on polishing my Max all day today. I used Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze and then applied a coat of NXT.

NICE!!!

i wish i could wax my car...
my friend was so drunk and he accidently made damages to my max. (huge dent
on rear side panel and rear door)
i took it to the body shop, got it fixed and they painted that area. and I can't wax it for 90 days
they told me not to wax on new paint....sucks...

Thanks for the comment guys !

It takes a lot of work to get silver to shine like that and i've got the sore arms to prove it this morning ! Oh well.....I can use that as an excuse to get out of doing yard work today.

95Max - Thanks ! I'm on vacation for 2 weeks. So lots of time for waxing. Point your car north, drive for 10 hours and i'll do yours too.

The combination of products that i used would probably make your paint colour explode.

I haven't seen NXT at any of the big box stores (Cdn Tire & Walmart). Where did you get it?

Car looks great. I use Carnuba yellow wax. Go to a detail shop and buy a can. It costs about $25 a can but it's really easy to work with, looks awesome, and doesn't leave that toothpaste look in the cracks.

As one of silver max owners, it is one of the most shining silver I've ever seen yet... You're right, it definitely takes hard work to have the silver shine like that.

BTW, did any of you guys have experience with industrial falloffs? We silver owners should be happy that it is not too noticeable compared to dark color cars, although you can still feel the smallest dots if you touch it. Good thing I found out how to remove such fallouts from my buddy at body shop...

Anyways, your car looks clean~~

Looks awesome, Bob! I'm getting my 'silver belle' tomorrow night -- the dealership will be detailing it before I take it off the lot. I hope mine looks as good as yours does.
