Billet Bar Grille Owners

I thinking about purchasing the TRENZ 04 MAXIMA BILLET BAR GRILLE POLISHED, how hard is it to keep clean? Is is easier than the stock grill?

TIA

Pretty easy, I have the polished one and I think its much easier than the factory becayse the factory has all those wierd places dirt would collect. With the billete I just clean with with car to get the dirst off then i go over with a microfiber towel and some windex or polish whatever to dry. looks good everytime, im sure eventually its will get worn and beat up but for now its hangin tough.

When i installed mine I actually bought some 3m foam tape, thick, and lined the bumper on the inside where the grille rest so the grille would not move around, before I did that the grille wobbled a bit scratchin the paint on the bumper. youll see with the grille that the bottom doesnt clamp in like the factory, instead there are bobby pins, so if you press on the grille ie when washin the car, it may push in, so with this tape I prevented that.

go purchase it and enjoy

Ive got the billet. Its not stillen though. Im happy with it, and it gets alot of comp's. The only thing I dont like about it is when driving between 45-50 mph, it hums like a tuning fork. Its not real loud or anything, but its there. So I usually just drive faster!!

no hum here...no complaints...use an air blower to get it good and dry...no nicks or signs of wear...still polishes up real good...approaching one year with it...

I have the same grill. Installed by the dealer before I bought the car. I like it so much better than the stock one.

jrussell915, Thanks for the pictures. I like how the grill looks on the Black, I think I be getting one now.

I never thought of getting the Burnt Orange seats, I bet they look sweet. Need to put some pictures of them on your web site.

Get the Trendz grills from www.southwestautoworks.com since they are a sponsor of the .org and they have great prices and service!

I was missing a piece from the Injen CAI I bought from them. They treated me right and got a replacement sent out ASAP. Ask for Steve when you call. Great guys to deal with!

Is this "Trenz" ? This looks good. How is the fit ? Does it fit in exactly like the stock one ? Nice and solid in there ?

Tks, Bob

They offer Free Shipping? How does that work to Canada? I was interested in the Street Scene grill until I read that the OEM grill has to be cut out, can you enlighten me on that. Thanx

Qutoed from the Southwest Autoworks Website:

DragRacing.com's SCO Store is offering free shipping for a limited time only, on all items in the store, on all orders shipped to any of the the 48 continental states.
No restrictions apply to orders shipped to those 48 states. It even applies to APO/FPO addresses when using a US ZIP Code.
Applies to the 48 states only. They may still do it or give you a further discount if you ask them ?

The Canadian Tire web site shows the Trenz Grills and the Street Scene grill in $ Canadian and will ship directly to your home. I was all set to order the Street Scene grill until I learned the OEM has to be cut out. I`m leasing the Max and don`t want to perminently scar it.
To view the grills go to Canadian Tire .ca and select automotive and then select Driver FX.

Yeah, its $361+tax at driverfx.ca, comes to $415 delivered.

South West is at $199US. Add $25 for shipping (estimated) and convert at 1.35, add some taxes and $5 handling fee when you pickup your package at Canada Post and you get about $353.

The guys at South West have been known to give discounts to the .org members. Never hurts to ask. Maybe you could get 10% off the price.
