Removing Yellow Side Markers

Is it possible to remove the yellow strips on the sides of the headlights, I think it would look much sweeter if it was cleared out.... any suggestions?

I definitely agree, though I don't think it'll be easy to do.

The law (U.S. Dept of Trans rules) requires two lights on each SIDE of every vehicle; a red one at the rear (usually accomplished by having part of the tail light lenses showing on the side) and a YELLOW ONE AT THE FRONT. These are commonly referred to as 'clearance' lights, and removing the yellow strip technically leaves the vehicle in violation of this law.

You can remove the yellow strip and still be in compliance if you add a separate yellow light to the side of both front fenders. But that would 'mar' the look more than the yellow stripe, in my opinion.
