Brake Noise

I had to slam on my brakes for the second time since I've had the max. The first time it happened I thought I heard a clicking or grinding noise, but I figured it was just the road. However, today I had to stop hard on the brakes and heard/felt the same thing. Hard to describe, it kind of felt like there was some gravel in between the brakes that was crunching. The car still stopped on a dime, but just curious if others have heard this noise before. It wasn't an all out slamming on the brakes, just a very hard stop.

That is most likely the ABS working as it should.

Does feel/sound strange, but should stop the car much better than conventional braking systems.
