After going away on vaction for two weeks I couldn't wait to jump back in that Maxima and go for a ride, but when I went to open the driver door it was really hard to open. I thought it was the door hinge and so I tried putting some wd40 on it but it still is quite stiff.

Anyone else had this problem?

 

I had trouble with all four of my door handles when the car was new.... especially over the winter.

No trouble with the hinges.

A good silicone spray on all the moving handle parts took care of the problem... and the weather got warmer too.

We'll see what happens next winter.

 

I have the same problem more w/ back doors because I don't open them often, but some silicone spray should do it.
