still front end shimmy
my 04 max se
they replaced tires and rims, and rotors, road force balance
every front end adjustment that they could and it still shimmys at 55mph
can any one give me a phone number of a dealer that has an answer, mine has tried 6 times and has failed

The tech at the dealership told me even though you replace everything, you aren't going to fix the problem. He explained that the rotors are floating and are not bulted, like the Pathfinder and Xterra. Even the Armada have floating rotors. He said once the tire gets put on, that tightens the rotor. Hope I'm explaining it right. They are much cheaper to replace then the ones on the Pathfinder and Xterra. If you get a chance, look at the front rotors on a Path then look at yours. You'll see the difference.
I resurfaced my rotors which worked great for 3 days. But now they are shimming again. I'll have them replaced soon but it won't be fix.

Action Nissan Has The Shimmy Fix!
Action Nissan in Nashville, TN has the fix. Have your Dealership give them a call. They are just North of Smyrna, TN where the Maxima is built. They worked with Action and have come up with a fix. www.actionnissan.com is there website and you can find all of the info for contact there. jdc1203
