I was gonna bid on this exact auction. As for them being stolen, it's only speculation at this point.

You know... it takes a real P.O.S. to jack with another mans car. I think the guys with the stock wheels should mark them somehow, then see what shows up on ebay. Thieves make me sick... I know if one comes my way I can guarantee they'll wish they wouldnt have.

I can understand a person selling one set should they be disposing of their factories, but this is shady.

I wouldn't consider it strange except he's got 2 different sets for sale. I have my originals in my garage with 1000 miles on them because they absolutely sucked in the snow. Now i'm used to my 17's tires and rims and might put mine on ebay and get some aftermarket 18's that ride better.

those are my boys rims fools. He just drop some chromes on his

and he's tring to make back some of his cheddah. You guys always think of some negative sh@t. I plan on doing the same in a month or so. And i bet if some of you needed some 18s you would be bidding. So think about it when you try to sell yours of on ebay an you got **** blockers hating on the other side because you already got 18s.

Maybe the guy works at a wheel shop and buys these off of customer dirt cheap hoping to make a few bucks on ebay. There might be a bunch of different reasons how he came in possesion of them. It's just plain wrong to assume that he stole them.

If he did steal then then there is one caveat, What comes around goes around. eventually he will meet up with the wrong person or car owner.

I live in Queens. I know when I switched to my winter 17's the tire shop guy asked me what I was going to do with the originals. I guess he was hoping I would say I don't need them so he could take them and sell them . I know in nyc a licensed tire shop can't legally buy rims from people because I asked when switching rims on my last car.

He sold one set of 17's and one set of 18's before... why e-mail the guy with stupid questions??? There could be many reasons why he has more than one set... always thinking in a negative way. . . . .

I wonder if there's a way to permanently mark the tires and rims so they could be traced and buyers could know if they are stolen... if they care enough.

A friend of mine owns a performance shop and ends up with stock rims and tires all the time. Some times people just give them to him because they don't want to haul them off. Sometimes people say their gonna come back for their rims and never do. Sometimes people give him a set of rims because one rim has damage, which he fixes and sells the set.

He sells these rims on e-bay all day long.
