I've been looking at the M45 (this is the one you are talking about, right?) for a while now.. its feature set looks very sweet (although I think it's offiicially being redesigned for 2006, to be relased in Jan 2005 ). Lane departure warning system, car-distance cruise control, 5.1 audio, 330 HP, etc... but then for $40K+....

It is schedule for 2006 model year to be released in spring of 05. The new M45, Acura RL, and Cadilac STS are in an article in the new automobile magazine. They are on the cover.

Infiniti had to take drastic measures with the M45. It was little more than a stripped down luxury car with great power and not-so-great amenities. To me it actually looked a little too Detroit-like from the side.

To my way of thinking, the new one is a vast improvement.

And the new Accura RL is an awesome vehicle. My son is already eyeing it. He is thinking of trading in his '03 T-Type (type S) toward one. The outside is only 'conservatively fine'. But the list of standard features leaves one breathless.

My son feels both the M45 and the Accura RL can be had for just over $40K. I personally suspect the driveout on each of these vehicles will be nearer $50K, especially the first year or so.

I'll stick with my Maxima.

I've been watching this car since I first saw the concept around christmas last year and

There are rumors that there will also be a coupe and convertible version also.......

some pics of the interior

all from http://acura-cl.com/forums/showthrea...2&page=1&pp=25

btw, I love my max and all, but it pales in comparison to the new m45

That center dash console looks simmillar to the one used in the Nissan Primera, http://www.nissan.co.nz/vehicles/pri...allery.php?p=2. Thats the only simmillarity though lol.

I love my '04 Max... but if I had $50k I'd be one of the first in line for the new M.

I say this a couple of weeks ago. Nice car but (as with the FX35), I cant justify paying $50G for an M35 no matter how loaded. Especially if the new Acura RL undercuts it in price. $.02

I think it looks good... except for the Volvo looking taillights. The interior looks pretty sweet.
