Around 1am I Hear My After Market Alarm Going Off.i Went Outside And I Saw The Door Lock Busted. They Tried To Use The Window Roll Down Feature..(i Wish It Did Not Have That Feature). Any One Know How Much A New Door Lock Cost?

 

Around 250.00. They have to replace the whole lock as well as the handle and reprogram the chip within your key.

What specifically do you mean by that?

 

Did you leave your key fob where they were able to get it or is there some other window roll down feature?

 

Put the key in the lock and turn it to the unlock position and hold it....windows go down.....turn and hold at the lock position windows go up

 

I just got back from the dealer he said that a lot of people are coming in to buy door locks due to break in's.He recomended me that since I live in a bad area to plug the whole and hope that your battery doesn't die on you because there is no way to open the door w/ the key anymore.

 

Damn that sucks man. Is your ride sleeping on the streets? I guess that's p-town for you. I hate leaving my car on the streets even during daytime. I had my last car broken into midday in paterson. It sucks!!

As for the window roll down feature....all the theives have to do is pop your door lock and ground some wires out. This will disarm the factory alarm and roll down your windows.

when I had my 02 max my H.I.D got stollen 3x...My 04 max don't have H.I.D . I don't know what they want from this car, it is bone stock....

duh, the car! hope u didn't leave out the HIDs because of theft, they dumb*sses prob can't tell the difference. they know about the bose and may want the stereo/speakers, even if base system. I often visit family/friends and my church in the ghetto i grew up in. haven't since buying my Max. Not sure what to do.
Guess you shoulda waited to move first then buy one. Really sucks, sorry man.

 

That sucks. Move to Princeton or New Brunswick.
