Monotaur

Well, I had my windshield replaced today at my dealership's collision center. I talked them down from the high 400's (nearly 500) to something more reasonable and nearly in line with what other have paid and what it would have cost from other servicers in my area. Anyway, after I pulled out of the parking lot I realized that the mileage reading on the work ticket was about 24 miles less than what was on my odometer... and on the ride back to the shop, the tech said "Your car drives nice" (He picked me up and we were talking about the new Titans and how they rode at the time). Also, After I get home I go to put it in park, look down, and there is a huge scratch (on left side of plate, runs just above the "R") on the plastic shift plate that I *KNOW* was not there before I dropped it off. I also have to leave town in the morning for a few days, so I think i'm going to email them to see what they have to say. Here is a pic of the scratch:

What a bunch of beef smokers. Is that piece plastic or metal? Its people that do that crap to other peoples cars that give us mechanics bad reps.

if that chit happened to me, I would be more worried about the mystery miles on my car than the scratch. I would raise a big stink up in thar.
