Wheel, Shimmy, Strut, Rotor Problems

Ok, from what I understand the shimmy is a common problem. However, I have no shimmy. I do have a clicking noise coming from what appears to be the front driver's side wheel. This noise is only audible at slow speeds. Wondering if this "clicking" and the shimmy/rotor problem are related. Haven't heard a whole lot of posts in regards to this "clicking". But it does seem like a pretty common problem. I spoke with a gentleman at the carwash with a 2004 SE and he's having this problem as well. Any comments/suggestions?

Make sure the center emblem in the wheel is not loose. Also check for rocks/pebbles in the tread...that's usually the cause of low speed clicking from a wheel. Then try rotating the tires and see if it's still there.

I get rocks caught in the treads quite often. I'm suprised at the size of them sometimes.

Just got back from the dealer and I ran out of time before they could locate the problem. They think it's the strut. I'm gonna have to go back and leave my car for a day. At least I got my Stillen RSB installed.
