Windshield Fog

Windshield Fog
I've noticed this recently. My windshield is fogging up more than before. It fogs up on the inside of the windshield towards the bottom right where the vents are for the defogger. It usually happens when I drive a short while and turn off my car, like a trip to the store. The weather right now shouldn't be causing my windows to fog. It seems like whatever's coming out of the vents is causing the window to fog. I've never had this type of problem in another car before.

I would expect to see a little fog when you first start out, as the AC unit has to get going and the first air out of the vents is air left there when you shut off the engine. But the AC should be able to clear this fog within a minute or two.
If you have the AC on, and the fog does not clear after a few minutes, maybe the AC dryer unit is not working. Are you sure the AC is on? If the outside air is very humid, you could use the 'recirculate' mode (blocks outside air from the cabin) of the AC.
If your AC is on, and the fog persists, it may be time to visit your dealer.
