Has anyone had tsb ntb04045 done on there 2004. Did you have a problem with the dealer with that repair?

 

I had it done last week. They had given me a bit of resistance initially. But i printed out them TSB and brought t with me when i took my Max in.

according to the workorder this is what they did:

JE99AA Reprogram A/T control unit
DE98AA Reprogram ECM

I had the dealer do this 3 weeks ago - they did the same work to my car as SilverBelle04 and it solved the problem completely. No grief from the dealer - my mechanic there is a Master Tech, he did the work in about 3 hours, and did a great job! Shift Shock Gone! He also fixed the glove box mis-alignment, cleaned the backside of my NAV screen to remove the fog, and changed the oil on the same visit.

 

can you shed some light on as to what this tsb is about?
