Urgent call from dealership: re: - skyview roof

They tracked me down today at work. They want me in tomorrow to inspect the skyview roof. They can tell from some numbers on the glass and well as a detailed inspection if it needs to be replaced. Not all will.
Only a certain batch of the windows are flawed. If mine is bad, an all
day stay to replace it ,and then wait until it cures. Pick it up in the evening. I will know more tomorrow, and give a heads up.

I checked the link, and it looks like I'm good to go. The two lower
dots line up below the "r" in Carlex. I must have a good one.
Still will go in tomorrow so they can check me off the list.

This link shows a picture of what it looks like from the driver's
rear corner. I could not see this when looking outside in, so
I laid on the back seat and looked up from the inside. It reversed
like when looking at a mirror. But you can figure it out.

Interesting that your stealership "cares" so much about you. The owner must be terrified of litigation, now that the recall program is in swing.

Tell the stealership that bringing the car in for inspection is very inconvenient for you, that to do it, he is going to have to give you a set of Nissan coffee mugs, or new floor mats, or something to offset your pain and suffering....

Mine is also bad. But, the mechanics at my dealership haven't replaced any skyviews yet, so I am going to wait a couple of months in order to let them practice on other people's cars...

In the meantime, be sure to wear a facemask capable of protecting you from shattering glass.

Very wise choice - nothing worse than giving your car to the "auto hobby shop" let alone as the ginnie pig...
