3 weeks without my MAX...

its been 3 weeks that my Max is in the shop(dealer). it all started last May, I felt a jerk when I stop. I ignored it until it got worst and worst. I went to 3 dealer ship to get it checked. The last dealership found the problem. It was a sensor for the A/T.. Unfortunately, they dont have any parts, its back order. They dont know when its going to be there... its been 3 weeks... Is there a law on this ???? I miss my MAXIE(my name for my car)...

I'd complain either way - you are paying for TIME in YOUR car for these three weeks. I don't know about you, but I would not be happy with throwing away 3/4's of a loan payment because my stealership can't get parts.

And yes, the lemon law should address this concern (or atleast start to - Depending on the state in which you live, I think it requires more than 1 visit for the same problem and/or a certain period of time in which your car is out of service).

I talked to the dealer again.. same story no parts yet .. It should come today (afternoon, they say).. I asked them how long it would take to fix the problem, if the part comes in today (sensor). They said that they need the whole day do it ? this blows big time !!!!!

Lemon Law ?? not sure this can be consider fot it since they are fixing the problem?

will keep you guys posted..
