if you find an 04 with everything you want, you will save a lot of money and miss very few changes. Try to get a newer one with VIN ....90000 or higher to avoid a lot of problems. Or wait a month and pay a lot hoppen all the quirks are fixed, but will be 99% the same as an 04 with a nice price hike.

Maxima80 nailed it.

You should be talking invoice price on an '04. Many dealers are already beginning to try to clear space for the '05s. They realize the '04s will be more difficult to move after the '05s begin rolling in.

Don't expect good deals on the '05s until probably around Thanksgiving. It may be January before one can find really great deals (invoice) on the '05s.

As Maxima80 said, the higher the VIN the better. There are over 31,000 '04 Maximas with VINs higher than 900000. Many (but not all) of the early bugs were fixed (or made better) by the time these cars rolled down the line.

And there are strong hints there will be very few changes for '05. If you can hold off a week or two, we should all know exactly what changes there will be.
