And also, you do not have to goto the bbb for arbitration. Goto a laywer and your arbitration date will be the day you show up in court. Don't let all those numbers, hotlines, and BBB strong arm you bud. Like you told me, gota stick with it right!

Jasonjm is wrong...look through the paperwork you signed when you purchased your car. If you signed an arbitration agreement you must go to arbitration first prior to going to court. In arbitration you and Nissan will duke it out. If you don't like the settlement get a lawyer and go to court.

If you did sign an arbitration agreement and go to court first you will have that paperwork thrown into your face and you case will be dismissed

Get the G35 it is still a Nissan but a much better one. I had A LOT problems with my 02 Atima and i wanted to drive it through the dealers window. I have an 05 Maxima and I feel real uneasy about it but my dealer absorbed my lease and 4000 miles on my altima I could not get infinity to do that for me this is the only reason that i have a Maxima. Now I wish that I would have paid the overage and went with an Audi or an infinity. because of this I have my car listed on www.swapalease.com

Carlos G. at the helm

I am sure this is no consolation to those already plagued by Maxima's quality woes, but I read an interesting article in the Economist stating that Carlos Ghosn has taken direct control of U.S. operations in light of the quality issues. Furthermore, he has brought in 200 engineers from Nissan HQ in Japan to sort out the quality problems.

However the article refers specifically to the Canton Mississippi plant; not the one in Tennesse.

check out the article at:

That may even be an issue about the way u drive it. I'm a lil more lead footed that my momz, but I get about 19.5 MPG........My momz Max gets 22.4 MPG........If I switch cars with her for a week, the figures are reversed......Also, how much city driving do u do? Obviously, you'll get better highway MPG than city.....Just offering my thoughts is all.

Thanks for digging up this very dead thread. Read the stickies before you get banned. Read your owners manual to tell you about the AUTO feature on the AC. Also pick up a book to learn how to spell and write, no one will reply to a post such as yours.
