It finally happened

Had my car at the dealership yesterday for a new radio, shift know, headlight adjustment, oil change and oh ya the dome assembly ( asked them why they had orderd that part and they forgot to mention to me that they broke the one I've been driving around with and didn't tell me.

But I asked then to check the hollow pinging noise from my right front suspension. Go to pick up the car and they told me the strut is blow and ordered a new one. Awesome. But I'm rocking the eibachs and when they go to do the swap is it gonna void my warranty? What to do? I don't think they know my car is dropped and I didn't want to say anything.

I wouldn't say a word unless I was asked. 9 times out of 10 they won't notice until they have it on the lift and are removing the assembly.

I hate to say it but you may get screwed on this one. Your strut is blown probably because of those springs. If they open them up and see the word EIBACH on those springs.....there goes your warranty. Good luck with it

How much would a new strut cost if not covered by warranty? Now think how much it would cost to get your eibach springs taken out and car realigned, then when you get the car back from the dealer having the eibachs reinstalled and realigned. Just some food for thought.
