Gen 6 Grille Body Color

I see so many people with their Gen 6 putting aftermarket grilles on their cars. Of all I have seen I still prefer the look of the factory grille, but don't care for the finish on it.

So..has anyone done their Gen 6 Grille body color? If so , please post pics.

Thanks so much!

I'm wondering if anyone has removed the tooth and put the Nissan emblem back...like the 2005 Altima.

Can't do it. It's all 1 piece.

"Edify11" has had his grille painted body colour and it looks great. I'm sure he won't mind if i post some of his pics:

I believe that is the grill I sold to Edify11. I replaced my factory with E&G grill.

The bodycolor grille looks great! Would love to see it on a White and a Red Opulence (sp?) Gen 6.

I know someone who's grille is peeling on their Red Op. 04 max, so I will suggest this option to them.

Thanks and keep posting...looks great!

I thought you had to remove the emblem to transfer to aftermarket grilles? I saw a grille on eBay w/o the emblem. I have an emblem off of eBay for a grille.

The tooth and grille are all one piece..not the "emblem".

Exactemondo !

I removed my stock logo to install on my aftermarket grille, but it was a pain in the you know where to remove it. I would just buy a new logo if i had to do it again. The tape they use at the factory is very, very, very sticky.

Bob, I don't mind at all. Would've posted them myself, but it looks like you beat me to it.

These body color grilles look great on Gen. 6. Nissan should do that on all SE models.

JettmeisterMax's post rekindled a thought I had when the '04s first came out.

The 'tooth and chrome-fested grid' grille of the '04 looks OK with the general usage expected of the SL. It does not, however, look 'SEish'. Like JettmeisterMax, I feel it might have been better on the SE to have an all-black grille, or a body colored grille, or even keep the tooth but fill the rest of the grille opening with some all-black design.

But Nissan didn't ask me . . .
