I have a new SL about a month old and have noticed a momentary noise in the morning after a cold start. Usually the car has been warmed for less than one minute and then put in gear.

Almost as soon as I start driving this there is a momentary low pitcehd noise or "growl" from the car. Seems to be running great but just trying to get used to a new car.

Anyone know if this is normal or if I should be bringing in for service. I normal what is the noise I'm hearing??

I think its normal, i've noticed the same thing in my car, but i usually goes away.

 

This noise sounds like an electric motor Does anyone know if there is some type of cold weather/choke issue that might cause. Does not occur when cold started later in the day with warm temps??
