CustomMaxima Ypipe

I don't visit the 6th Gen forum much, but I love the look of the 6th Gens look more and more everytime I see one. And they seem to really start selling now, I saw 6 just yesterday!!

But anyway, I was wondering if any of you are gonna increase the performance with CustomMaximas Ypipe, that came out not too long ago. Seems like they are jumping on the ball early. It would be interesting to see what a 6th Gen could do with a Y.

Read a review of CE's Altima Ypipe on Altimas.net they seem to praise, good fitment and everything. Looks like the same design as the Altima, obviously, same motor.

Go to custommaxima.com and there should be a pic on the website. Headers are coming out very soon so I think it would be a waste of money to buy the y if you plan on buying them.

As soon as they get the part in it'll be installed. It was supposed to be in this week but no surprise we pushed it back till next week. I'll be sure to let you know any gains and such.

Cattman is currently working on headers for our cars. I spoke with Brian about being a test mule but he has that covered. A guy tested these headers on the 5.5 and netted some impressive gains +20hp. There's a post on the 5th Gen board.

So, if you don't mind the extra time and/or expense of getting headers installed, I'd wait.

Headers would make the 6th Gen sound sweet! With headers the 6th Gen will sound like a Z/G35C

on there website, the y-pipe is able to be purchased, but i've called for the past two weeks and they don't have them in stock, keep telling me next week. Sounds like shayd business to me. Want headers, can't wait so i'm gonna call today and order it if its in stock and then wait till the headers come out and make it a beast.
Note: Stock car ran 14.6 @95
Modified car with drop, 20's, CAI, no resonator ran 14.8's at 97mph

I swear if the y-pipe doesn't show any improvements, my car will show up stolen in a few weeks. Cause on all my other 4th gens, every mod gave a quicker time, yes even a drop, less air resistance underneath. Custommaxima also stated a 20+ whp from the y-pipe. We'll see.

I just go an email from greg, the pipes were supposed to be in two weeks ago, and even he is unsure of why they haven't come in yet. Being delayed is something i'm used to with these guys, but when he's mad about it, there is a chance its not his fault.
