Cargo net question

Hi guys,

I just took delivery on my Max (04) about a week ago and was wondering: how many cargo nets are included with the car? I got 2 (one side one and the bigger one). Just thought I would check with others before I get on my dealer's case for the missing side one...

Thanks.

Fred.

you're missing another side one. 3 total: 2 small, 1 large.

Uh, welcome? see this is your 1st post. Nice car.

Thank for the quick response. This is a great forum. Nice car too, by the way.

Is it just me, or is the cargo net in the 6th Gen much less useful than the one in the 5th Gen.

My issue is that in the 5th Gen, I could attach my large cargo net fully across the trunk space, approximately half way back in the trunk. In this setup, the net spanned the entire width of the trunk, and effectively let me keep the back half of the trunk completely seperated from the front half.

It seems with the 6th Gen that the only place I can attach it is all the way at the front of the trunk, right near the latch. Even when stretched out fully, it would only reach across 75% of the trunk.

Am I missing something, or is this just the way it is?

why would you want to separate the trunk?

2 small cargo nets, 1 large cargo net and a trunk shelf.

I actually got a cargo net from a wrecked g35sedan and it fits in the trunk fine almost seperating the trunk in 1/2. Most of the time I don't need the whole trunk because it as you may know a large trunk so seperating the space almost in half is more convient for me in many ways.

The g35 cargo net is a better quality and has a nicer tab to pull apart the net.

Just kidding about the trunk shelf.
