I'm looking at HP evo. Says: "New 18x8, 38mm offset, 5x114.3 - HP evo $695/shipped..."

Is this the correct offset?

Will this thing fit? I thought 40 was the offset....

I want to get these in 18s. Should i do 18x7.5? 18x8?

I don't believe with your 6th gen and an 8" width a few mm either way is going to make a big diff. 2mm is like a 1/16th or so?

38mm is close enough to fit.

I thought there was some problem with the center cap not fitting, and needing to be modified on those rims?

Check this thread. There is a Group Deal (GD) going on currently for these wheels.
