I don't care for the chrome looking grilles at all (mesh, billet, home depots etc). Max to me is too sporty for that. I do love the Sarona grille, but I prefer the black in the bumper (the way the bumper is painted from the factory). But the Sarona is best I've seen so far other than the original grille painted body color. I love the look of the 6th gen Max, always have. Love peeking in the 6th gen forums here to see what you guys are up to.

I like mine....different, not many out there with this one...heavy duty and clean. Matter of taste though. To me, anything looks better than stock, but was never into the mesh. Again, Personal taste.

I see too many pick-ups in my area with these shiney silver/chrome after-market grilles. I still think original (or Sarona) grille done body color is the best look on Gen 6 so far..

carcus, I bet if your all horizontal grille was body color or black, it would look fantastic. I just can't get into the bright silver/chrome look all that much.

I still would like to see a gen 6 max in white with an original or Sarona body color grille.

There was a post somewhere on here (but don't remember exactly where) with a picture of an Australian "Maxima". I thought that grill looked really nice. Hard to tell if it would fit or not. If so, that would be my choice. It has a G35 look to it.

Can anyone get a close-up of the Sarona grille? I'm thinking about getting one, but the pics are always a little unclear...is it like mesh or is it more solid?

Yes...that is it. I think that grill looks pretty good for a factory grill. Not sure if it will fit, but that would be great if it did.

My biggest gripe with the billets is that they do not address the notch in the bumper that accommodates the bottom of the "tooth" - I, for one, like the OEM grille. I like the "depth" that it gives the front end (the billets look flat by comparison) and since SilverBelle04 abandoned the OEM grille club for a billet, I guess that leaves me the only member left that likes the "chrome" OEM. Until someone designs a grille that "fits" like it was designed for the front end (besides Sarona - too $$$) instead of just filling the hole with aluminum, I guess I'll suffer with the plastic, and all the chipping that goes with it.

I'm with you in the OEM grill club 04SEelite, not a fan of billet at all, looks too cheap in my opinion. I came from being a truck owner and everybody puts those damn billet grills on them, now I've seen the trend with flames and dice etc...horrible!!! I think the Sarona grill that andymax95 has is the best aftermarket grill out there to date, but yeah $$$ + paint. But the Austrialian grill is nice for sure, too bad we can't get something like that.

D@activeTuning what might you guys have in the works over there, any sneak peeks or hints?

I'm with you, I don't understand why everyone dislikes the oem grill. I saw a mesh grill a while back which would be the only grill I would consider switching to and can't find it anywhere. So as far as I'm concerned I'd rather put the $250 towards an audio system.

Well, you can get a BBQ grill, the stock Rabbit tooth...will look like a chipped tooth soon.....or a Screen Door, chicken wire fence look, other than that, guess those are the options. To each his own.
