Planning on a remote starter install for my 2004 SL. Thinking about using a spare output on my RS to turn on rear window defroster (and I assume heated mirrors will go with it)

Anybody know if this has been done before. If so, is this a positive or negative circuit. That is will a constant ground or ground pulse turn this on at switch or do I need switched 12 V power?

 

Dude, go to a local installer and ask questions... I know you didn't get any response here, so go to a local security system installer and just "make friends" and ask the questions... I posted a couple of "remote start" threads in this forum and everyone acts like they don't know anything about remote start... On a MAX, I think it should be default, but, I guess it's not the majority who thinks as such... Ask a true professional...they will "deliver the goods"...
