Ive noticed when its cold my sunroof makes this really loud noise when it closes. It hits something but i cant really tell, i noticed this when i was coming home one night and forgot about it when i got home. Then i opened it and closed it the next night and it made that loud noise again. So i checked it out and it hits what i think is my wind deflector. And now my deflector has some mean scratches on it. Anyone else have/had this problem. What should i do, ive had my SL for a month.

 

There's a TSB on this. Dealer shoul d know what to do.

Yea I had this on my SE. Get the TSB done. All they do is twist the nylon on each end of the defector to lower it a little. 30k plus car and that's their fix....nice. It worked on mine for about 2mths and it started to hit it again. Its till closes so at this point I don't care. What are they goin to do, keep twisting that nylon?!?!?! Might as well take the deflector out.
