A very experienced mechanic at my local garage was telling me today that the tire manufacturers are going nuts - the sizes keep creeping up because a lot of guys are buying low profile. He said it is getting hard to find good 14s now as a result, and he said 15s are on their way out next.

He also said, based on a lot of personal racing experience, that you don't ever want to experience a 20", high pressure (i.e. over 36 lbs pressure), blow out while driving fast. He said the "young" inexperienced drivers tend to forget this phenomenan when buying extreme low profile tires.

Just me two cents - the 20s look fantastic, but the ride quality really suffers, and safety factor sucks.

yes, we sell Volk. But anything 19" and up is a 2-3 month wait.
