Bose Cd player skipping???

Im having a problem with the damn cd player skipping a lot now. Dont know i it has anything to do with the cold weather or anything but eversince the temperature has dropped the cd player wont let me listen to my favorite music in its entirety and its getting really annoying now! Just wondering if anybody else has this issue.

If you look back a few pages you'll see a couple posts on this. I had the same issue last year and had the thing replaced and now it seems to work just fine. I think they've fixed this problem in the newly manufactured units...

It's the cold weather - something to do with condensation or some crap. Bring the car into your dealership and get the player replaced. I need to do that myself, in fact.

Yeah mine was like that for a LONG time and it drove me crazy. I got it replaced and have had no problems so far.

This may be late but I have the same issue. Its not just the weather. I own a I35 and have had to replace my h.u. twice since buying it in 2003. I had the first problem in the winter and thought that may be the problem was the cold temp. Well the 2nd time around it was in the summer abd plenty of heat. Now I am experiencing the problem again with no real climate change. The only thing I can figure is the CD players are not designed to play multimedia CD's (such as cd's with videos or info that can be accessed on a computer). Clarion (the company that makes the head unit for Bose in Nissan products.) informed me that some of their units do that. But they will not confirm which model numbers.
