Glove box alignment fixed by Nissan....kinda...anyone else?

Was at the dealer getting my stock shift **** replaced after it broke, and got the glove box alignment TSB taken care of. Me and the tech took the screws out of the glove box and replaced 2 of the rubber plugs with fatter, heavier duty ones that Nissan put out in the TSB, was an easy fix, did make a difference, but to me, still seems off a bit even after the fix. Tech said looks like Nissan would rather send the rubber nipples out than to replace the entire glove box. Anyone else have this fixed and know what I am trying to say? Would love to hear your input. Also feels good to have a shift **** that will not spin on me when you touch it.

Mine looks better......but not what I would call a fix. Dealer said to make it perfect, Nissan would have to replace the dash and trim on all the cars. This is a cheap fix........3 cent part I imagine for the nubbs that replace the stock ones. I still wonder how the hell this got through QUALITY CONTROL on so many cars. Fit and finish issue to me. Yep, this is a minor thing, but hey, when you plop down 30 grand on a car.....you get what I mean.

Mine was replaced twice (I'm on my third one now). The dealer kept scratching it on install. It's the best so far in terms of alignment but it's still crooked.

In fact, most of the panels in the dash area don't line up properly if I look close enough.

I had to pop some panels back in place myself since I decided to not let the dealer touch the inside of my car anymore.

Yeah, I got mine fixed. Dealer wouldn't let me do it as "its under warranty" (see "we get $$ from Nissan Corp to fix dat" disclaimer).

Either way, the door is now even, but now the left side plastic fascia is in a bit.
But I figure, its better that is 'twas before.

And yes, I know what you mean.

RANT- The Stealership I went to (in Langhorne PA) sure is laid out bassackwards. The service desks are cocked at opposing 45 degree angles so..where is the line to wait? The parts guy (best people in the world if you get them on your side) is off in the corner like...can you see me? And the cashier is just overwhelmed...answering phone, ringing up cc, running to get receipts from Service writer that must be on coke and RedBull...nobody talks that fast and types and yada...and where do you park? Some lady in the waiting room farts, her kid is playing with toys all over (should have slipped and yelled lawsuit) and he is farting...so I get up and out and over to the showroom (crickets..I swear it was dead quiet, no sales schleps anywhere)...and sit in new 05 Pathgrinder..nice but $$$$ overpriced.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! I'm outta here!!
